Insurance and Risk Analysis
Insurance is an increasingly complex and frequently bewildering subject for individuals. As part of our services, we review the potential risk exposures, both personal and professional, that a client household may face, and we analyze where insurance may be appropriate to manage those risks. Major risks that need to be addressed are those that have the potential to disrupt the successful attainment of a client’s financial goals. Risk management choices include risk reduction, self-insuring the risk exposure, and purchasing an insurance policy. For insurable risks, we will work with insurance professionals in the following areas:
Property and Casualty for home and auto
Liability, both personal and professional
Health Insurance, including Medicare
Long Term Care
In addition, there are other significant risks – such as job loss or career dislocation – that are generally not insurable. These can be managed through the adoption of an appropriate savings and investment plan.
