![]() Introduction
» Posted by Martin Weil on June 25, 2005
Welcome to Martin's View, an entirely new section for our website. In this running commentary, I will briefly address topics that affect investors today - from personal finance and the markets to global economics. It is a forum that allows me to open a broader discussion with clients as well as other investors. In my first posts below, I discuss health care directives and credit monitoring, as well as comment on headline economics issues: the US trade deficit and a possible "housing bubble." I encourage readers to take a look at the the first entry in this series, a less-than-flattering description of market timing by legendary investor Ben Graham. In the future, I am considering adding a "comments" feature where readers can post their own observations. But for now, the conversation will just be one-way. The entry posts on this page will often have links to articles on the web that I think readers may find interesting or useful. Please feel free to email me at martinsview@mwinvest.com with your comments.
