"ICE" on your cell phone
» Posted by Martin Weil on July 19, 2005
Here is a really practical idea that I hope catches on.
According to this article in the Washington Post, cell phone users are being urged to put "ICE" in their cell phone directories before the name(s) of the people they want contacted in an emergency. ICE stands for "In Case of Emergency" and is intended to save paramedics and other emergency personnel vital time. The practice started in Britain and is beginning to spread to the US.
